The World Discoverer is a new state-of-the-art ship carrying 160 passengers, offering the following expeditions:

ALASKA:
1) Nome, Bering Strait, Little Diomede, Siberian Arctic, St. Lawrence, Pribilofs, Aleutians, Katmai Wilderness, Seward.

2) Nome, Bering Sea Islands, Pribilofs, Aleutians, Russia’s Kamchatka, The Kurils and Kushiro, Japan.

3) Prince Rupert, Misty Fjords, Tracy Arm, Yakutat, Kayak Island, Pr. William Sound, Kenai Fjords Wilderness, Seward.

ANTARCTICA:
1) Punta Arenas, Falklands, South Georgia, South Orkneys, Antarctic Peninsula, Ushuaia.

2) Ushuaia, Beagle Channel, Drake Passage, Antarctic Peninsula, Ushuaia.

OCEANIA:
1) Guam, Yap, Papua New Guinea, Trobriand Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji.

The Aranui sails every 3-4 weeks from TAHITI TO THE MARQUESAS ISLANDS. It connects local communities, calling at the principal villages, as well as several remote areas, on every inhabited island.

Every day a coastal steamer embarks on a 2,500-mile long trip ALONG THE COAST OF NORWAY from Bergen to Kirkenes and back, providing an essential connection between 34 local communities. The traditional ships carry about 200 cruise passengers, while the newer ships carry up to 490. Air-sea programs from all major North American gateways are available.

The Royal Mail Ship St. Helena sails from Cardiff, Wales via the Canary Islands to ST. HELENA and CAPE TOWN with 128 passengers. The return leg has a similar itinerary. One way cruise-only, as well as sail-fly packages, are available.

Yamal

Every summer the Russian icebreaker Yamal leaves with 100 passengers from the port of Longyearbyen in Spitsbergen for the NORTH POLE via Franz Josef Land, Russia. The cruise package includes flights between Oslo, Norway and Spitsbergen as well as hotel accommodations in Oslo, bus and helicopter transfers.

EUROPE - ISLANDS IN THE INDIAN OCEAN. Two containerships, carrying 10 passengers each, sail monthly from Antwerp, Belgium to Felixstowe, England; Rouen and Marseille, France; transit the Suez Canal, Victoria (Seychelles), St. Denis (Reunion), Port Louis (Mauritius), Toamasina (Madagascar), Longoni (Comoros), transit the Suez Canal, Port Said, Egypt; Marseille, Le Havre and Dunkirk, France and back to Antwerp.

AROUND-THE-WORLD - British Bank Line, westbound calling mostly at the South Pacific Islands, approx. 105 days. And German Pearl String eastbound service calling mostly in the South East and East Asia, approx. 125 days.
